Lifetime Guarantee
Because of the nature of addiction, a client graduating from our program can not be given a comprehensive guarantee or warranty of complete recovery or freedom from alcohol or addiction issues for the rest of one’s life.
However, unlike many treatment centers, New Method Wellness has always offered “life-long” aftercare support to alumni.
That aftercare is supported by the following promise: You are always welcome at the New Method Wellness outpatient program treatment center. As graduated alumni you are invited to stop by the treatment center any Thursday during program hours without prior arrangement to catch up, attend a group, or participate in therapeutic activities. Furthermore, feel free to contact your primary therapist or other staff members when you need to. We are here for you.
There are, of course, stipulations as listed below:
- Eligibility: The lifetime guarantee applies to the outpatient
treatment center (not the sober living facilities) and individuals
having completed the intensive outpatient program. The definition of
having completed the program is defined by your counselor and is
reflected on your discharge paperwork. Any discharge against staff
advice or an administrative discharge is NOT program completion. - Alumni day is always Thursday. To be here any other day you need to
make arrangements with New Method Wellness staff. - You must be completely drug and alcohol free while you are here.
- Your presence in a group is subject to the approval of the
then-current clients and therapist for the sake of our client’s privacy. - New Method Wellness retains the right to refuse admission to any
individual who was discharged for disruptive behavior, harm to other
clients, or noncompliance with treatment center or house rules. This is
in order to ensure the safety and recovery of all clients. - This does not include the following activities: Massage, Acupuncture,
and Medical Visits. Meals are not included in aftercare alumni rights. - We are counting on our alumni to be sensitive to the needs of current
clients. If there is not enough room for everyone to do Yoga, for
example, please volunteer to sit out. - Although you are welcome at sober living facilities with prior
arrangement, this guarantee does not provide you with free room and
board at any sober living facility.
