HallowCLEAN Sober Photo Contest

HallowCLEAN: The Basics
Anyone reading this post. Seriously, anyone who is sober and wants to participate in a super cool social media contest can participate.
"The HallowCLEAN Sober Photo Contest, you say?" What do we even mean by that?
We're asking YOU to showcase how creative you can get with your Halloween costumes for 2015. Whether you're flying solo with your Halloween costume, you have a group costume, or you just have a group of friends who want to dress up however they want... We don't care if you're at a sober party, a small get together, you're dressing up to carve pumpkins, or you're taking your siblings trick-or-treating. Whatever your plans, we want to see your costume and we want to see what your sober Halloween looks like.
We are giving you 11 days to Tweet us your HallowCLEAN sober photo. On November 2nd, a panel of judges will go through all of the Tweeted photos and select the winner of 'Best Costume' for HallowCLEAN 2015.
From October 22nd - November 1st we will be accepting photo submissions on Twitter with the hashtag #MyHallowCLEANPhoto.
The contest will take place on Twitter. Submit your HallowCLEAN Sober Photo on Twitter by tagging us @NMWTweets and hashtagging #MyHallowCLEANPhoto
Here's an example of us tagging ourselves.
To celebrate good, clean fun during the holidays, New Method Wellness has created a HallowCLEAN photo challenge. We are using this as a tool to educate addicts/alcoholics and their friends and family that holidays don’t necessarily require a mind-altering substance. Anyone is free to participate in our HallowCLEAN photo challenge, and we highly encourage group participation, as long as the gift of sobriety is respected and celebrated.
Also, because sobriety is cool. You can have just as much fun or even more fun sober!
Who are these silent judges who will be judging your photos and selecting the winner?
Well, they are Halloween lovers and of course, employees at New Method Wellness. Here's a little about them...
Parris enjoys long walks on the beach with invisible ghouls and goblins. Her favorite Halloween movie is Hocus Pocus, which she has watched every year since she was a little tater-tott. Parris plans on being one of the Marvel heroes for Halloween this year, but refuses to tell you which one because she doesn't want anyone to steal her idea.
Karin loves casting spells with good witches and chillin with mummies. She thinks that this Halloween, everyone should dress up as an emoji, because it's funny and emojis are awesome, but she knows that not everyone has an iPhone so some might not know what emojis actually are.
1. You must be registered, or your photos will not count (and we also can't send you the prize if you win... duh!) You can register at the end of this post.
2. You can submit a photo without registering, but your photo will not be reviewed by our judges unless you are registered.
3. Photos must be uploaded to Twitter by November 1st at 11:59pm or they will not be reviewed by our judges.
4. Protect your's and your friend's anonymity. Ensure that all individuals in the photo are willing participants; unless they're wearing a mask, in which case, we don't know who they are anyway.
5. Have fun, because if you're not having fun, then what's the point?
Your photos will be judged by the following criteria:
- Funniness (not a word, but go with us)
- Scariness (another made up word)
As stated, the judges will be reviewing the photos on November 2nd and will announce the winners of the challenge on our Facebook page!
